It's hard to know what you want to be growing up. When picking a major for college, my left and right brain battled as I envisioned my perfect career. I loved learning about trends and data and had a lifelong love of art and design. With all the ambiguity in my thoughts, I knew one thing for certain - wherever I ended up, I HAD to be flexing my creative muscle. The left side ultimately won the fight for my collegiate path, and I earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing at UTC in 2016.

After college, I  taught myself all I could about design programs, principles, and theories while working as a digital marketer in the startup world. I was thrilled to use my new found design skills often while managing and creating content for social media, websites, and email campaigns. My on-the-job experience as a designer quickly revealed that my true passion lies in design, which ignited a passion-fueled purpose that has driven me to run toward challenges and consistently grow as a designer ever since. Ultimately, both sides of my brain won the fight for my career path. I discovered my passion, and now I work to help others visually communicate their own.
