Brandon needed a logo that was a perfect portrayal of where he is now, yet could lend itself to any new segment of the beauty industry he may be headed next. With fluidity in the industry top of mind, the biggest goals of the project were to establish credibility, attract a diverse clientele, and make a bold impact.
With brand values of authenticity, confidence, self-love, and fluidity Brandon's logo demanded a powerful, modern, and chic design. Brandon wanted it to emulate clean luxury brands, with nods to geometry and celestial imagery; without overt symbols and industry iconography. To accomplish this, I chose a strong serif typeface that oozed luxury and paired it with a delicate script type to communicate the gentleness Brandon provides his patrons - and to balance the design. I modified the type to include a discreet halo, playing on Brandon's last name. Brandon requested a black and white color palette, which I was 1000% on board with because of its timelessness, flexibility, and perfect fit for his brand.
